Maximilian Kast is a Master Sommelier based in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.  Although wine is his expertise, his interest is in the synergy between it and the worlds of food, health, nutrition, the outdoors and big ideas.  He explores this world with his wife, photographer Krystal Kast, daughter Saskia, and dog Basil.
